Donald Trump rallies are fast becoming associated with outbreaks of violence. Whether that's a photographer getting slammed to the ground by Trump's security, Trump himself expressing his desire to punch a protestor, or Trump's supporters actually punching protestors, it seems to be happening an awful lot.
Add to that the fact that Trump's speeches have been compared to the hate speech of Europe's most notorious dictator and a Trump rally doesn't appear to a lot of people like the most inviting of places.
All this violence has spurred Twitter to create the hashtag #SaferThanATrumpRally which was recently trending on the social media service.
It posited that there were many, many scenarios where you might come to less harm than at a Trump rally. Like, you know, dinner with Hannibal Lecter or taking on Black Friday at Wal-Mart.
And Twitter being Twitter ensured it invoked a response that was worthy of an internet audience with too much time on their hands.
