Japanese Street Racing - A Neon-Lit Journey Into The After Dark Underground Petrol-Head Scene

If you have an insatiable need for speed then maybe it's time to put on your driving gloves and head east, all the way over to Japan where the petrol-head scene is alive and kicking and revving well into the red-line.

GoPro takes an ultra HD look at the Tokyo street racing subculture, where at nightfall the streets basically become a scene from The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. Glistening, exotic-looking motors take to the roads to show off their horsepower and their driver's nerve.

It's a definite petrol-head heaven where the characters are just as colorful as their cars (loud and fast and cool) which include Lamborghinis, Hayabusas, RWB Porsches, and Kaido Racers.

Characters like Akira Nakai, of RWB Porsche, who "considers the cars in his shop blank canvases to apply his signature artistry. Customers looking for the RWB Porsche need only provide their input on performance preferences; the rest is up to Nakai. No two cars are the same. Each is a signed original."

So they look and sound like nothing else as they cruise about, flashing and flaming up the streets and reaching speeds while they race that are seriously over the speed limit, around a nighttime city that is straight of Blade Runner. What's not to like?
