Groom And Groomsmen Surprise The Bride With An Incredible Wedding Dance Performance

Getting married is one of the biggest events of your life, a very special day to unite with the one you love, a time to share your joy and celebrate with friends and family.

As is the order of events, after the formal wedding ceremony is over then it's time to let your hair down and enjoy the reception, wedding meal, photos, speeches, and the bride and groom's first dance, and if you are the groom, hope that no one is expecting anything as nerve-wracking as a themed dance in front of everyone. God forbid.

But when two professional dancers get married, if there isn't a choreographed surprise wedding dance routine featuring the groom and his groomsmen as they bust some moves to a medley of pop hits from Britney Spears and Mark Ronson, then something has gone terribly wrong.

So it's fortunate that this wedding between professional dancer Kirk and his newly married other half Valerie, who's a ballet dancer at the Richmond Ballet, features just such a thing. Kirk and his eight groomsmen hit the ground running with their performance, syncing like the pros that they are.

Valerie, for her part, looks like it was completely unexpected, although she did say prior to the wedding, "Well, I hope you’re working on your groomsmen dance for me." Although it was likely a joke (albeit a joke that had better come true or else), Kirk then spent four months with his groom gang working on the smooth movies.

And the work paid off, because the bride looks seriously impressed and Kirk got rewarded with internet viral fame. Well done buddy, you've really set the bar high for every groom's forthcoming wedding with this little stunt.

Damn you.
