Guns Are Replaced With Selfie Sticks In These Hilariously Photoshopped Movie Scenes

Selfie sticks aren't the most menacing thing in the world, annoying sure, but you don't really feel threatened by them. So that makes things extra absurd when they're photoshopped into films to replace guns.

Such is the sole aim of Tumblr blog Guns Replaced with Selfie Sticks which takes some iconic movie scenes and characters—Arnie's terminator, Clint Eastwood's Man with No Name—and gives them a selfie stick.

It takes away any menace inherent in the scene and just reveals that, actually, that person doesn't want to shoot anyone with bullets, they just want to shoot a photo of themselves on their smartphone.

Turning threatening scenes into pure 21st century narcissism and in the process making actors like John Wayne far less masculine figures. And it's brilliant.

So next time you watch an action movie remember they are not concentrating on shooting the bad guys, they're concentrating on getting the right angle to make themselves look simply marvelous.

Because lets face it, if you are a movie star it's all about getting the right angle for the shot.
