Luscious Lips - Makeup Artist Laura Jenkinson Turns Her Face Into Popular Cartoon Characters

Laura Jenkinson channels more than the just latest beauty trend her daily makeup routine. In fact she channels something that's much more fun, and will definitely get you noticed: she turns her face into a cartoon character. Think about it, what man (or woman) could possibly resist the allure of kissing the lips of Patrick from SpongeBob SquarePants?

That's what makeup artist Laura Jenkinson has been doing, taking inspiration from SpongeBob, Scooby Doo, Garfield, The Simpsons, Disney, and many more.

Jenkinson creates the pics based around her own mouth, so her own features become integrated with those of the characters. She posts the results on Instagram and on her blog, where she also details what products she's used, in case you fancy giving it a go.

"I'd seen loads of other fantastic make-up artists on Instagram and I wanted to do something similar and on a bigger scale so I started doing about one a week." she told The Telegraph. "I use theatrical make-up normally but I occasionally use lipstick if I need to get the exact shade of something. I find a picture and then just hold it up to the mirror as a guide and draw straight onto my face - it's easier than you think!"

Maybe for her, but not everyone's as skilled with gel liner and colored lipstick. You can check out a selection of her creations below. And follow her on Instagram for more.
