Man Shaves Beard Off After 14 Years And Even His Own Father Doesn't Recognize Him

if you ever wondered what a difference some facial hair can make, then this commercial from the Israeli branch of advertising agency and masters of the form Saatchi & Saatchi will show you just how radically contrasting the effect can be. Especially to the close members of your family.

Meet 44-year-old Amit, a husband and dad from Tel Aviv who has proudly worn his facial fuzz for 14 years—so long that his kids and wife have never known him without it.

But one day he decides to shave it off. Such is his attachment to his thick beard though he feels anxious when the time comes to get rid of it. And such is the difference his face looks without it, his mother and twin sister do a double take before recognizing him.

But to top it off his own father walks right straight past him, not even giving him a second glance.

So OK, this might be a commercial expertly designed to capture our emotions just to hawk some razors, but the documentary style makes it a much more enjoyable watch than the cheese and masculine overdose that is your average Gillette advert.

And please don't tell Amit i said this, but i preferred him with the beard. Sorry buddy.
