Sit Back, Roll A Fat One, And Watch 'A Brief History Of Weed In The Twenty-First Century'

Today in America weed is treated much more fairly than it has been in the past. There are now four states—Alaska, Colorado, Oregon and Washington—where the sale and possession of marijuana is legal for medical and non-medical use.

And when I say past, it's really the 20th century that was a total a-hole if you wanted to smoke weed.

Because it was outlawed back at the beginning of the 1900s and it's only as recently as 15 years ago that public opinion, and state opinion, has shifted.

This insightful short doc from Fusion looks at the events, both cultural and political, that took place in the 21st century to create this change of heart and mind in the American people, and gave birth to what is now the marijuana movement. Toke it up.

Just in case you're new to the whole smoking pot thing and you wanted to get into it. First things first, you need to know how to roll a joint. The video below will set you straight on that.
