Today in America weed is treated much more fairly than it has been in the past. There are now four states—Alaska, Colorado, Oregon and Washington—where the sale and possession of marijuana is legal for medical and non-medical use.
And when I say past, it's really the 20th century that was a total a-hole if you wanted to smoke weed.
Because it was outlawed back at the beginning of the 1900s and it's only as recently as 15 years ago that public opinion, and state opinion, has shifted.
