Dad Of 4 James Breakwell (aka Exploding Unicorn On Twitter) Shares His Parenting Experiences

Parenting can be challenging, but as father of four James Breakwell (Aka. Exploding Unicorn on Twitter) shows on his thoroughly entertaining tweets, it can be pretty enjoyable and funny too. Exploding Unicorn, is a dad to four girls, all of whom are under six years old. And all of whom seem to have hilarious lifestyles.

You can only imagine how chaotic a household that must be. Actually you don't need to imagine it, because you'll get an idea from Breakwell's Exploding Unicorn account on Twitter. On it the funny dad regularly tweets his many conversations he and his wife have with their kids. Along with his humorous and downright hilarious experiences of parenting, like getting caught licking his baby's head by a nurse (It involved some rogue mustard).

An example of a conversation is Breakwell asking his 4 year old "Did you wash the dirt off your hands?" to which the daughter replies, "Yeah." "You’re still leaving dirty hand prints." Breakwell remarks. "I’m saving some for later." comes the wit that only a 4 year old can deliver. As for whether his daughters are aware they're internet famous. Well, yes, and it seems they're happy about it too.

“They like what I do on Twitter mainly because it’s all about them,” Breakwell told Buzzfeed. “On one hand, Twitter makes me a better father because I spend more time with my kids. On the other hand, Twitter makes me a much worse father because I only do it to get more material.”

As for his wife, it seems like eye-rolling is her default reaction to it all.

"My wife is grudgingly tolerant of my Twitter addiction. She was well-aware I was a jerk when she married me, so my tweets haven’t changed her opinion of me in the slightest."

Still, when the kids grow up, along with the Facebook albums and photos, they'll have a whole Twitter feed they can reminisce over. Which if you think about it is going to be a wonderful legacy of their childhood.
