There is no shortage of cute cats on Instagram who have amassed thousands of followers. But Gimo here must have the most adorable eyes out of all of them. Gimo is a Scottish Fold who lives in South Korea and as well as being a bundle of fluff has eyes that just make you go "awwwww."

With a small totally black face Gimo's huge eyes seem like they are floating in a sea of darkness, you can't even make out is nose, it's just eyes, those enormous eyes, and the effect is amazing.

They're the kind of eyes that could hypnotise you into doing anything, whether it be bring Gimo tins of tuna on demand or rub his belly until your arms fell off.

They make him look like he's in a state of permanent surprise or wonderment, and people have pointed out how he looks like an owl, a tribble, and the soot sprites that feature in Studio Ghibli's animation Spirited Away.

He certainly looks like he could be the star of his own cartoon or anime show.
