This Scary 'Human Flesh' Jacket Is Like Wearing A Horror Movie On Your Back

You might be a fan of horror movies, but would you wear one? Strange question maybe, but that's what this 'human flesh' jacket looks like. It's not actually human flesh, of course, it's just made to look like it is.

It's part of a series of fashion pieces designed and made by Kayla Arena and Toby Barron and is part of their Ed Gein macabre clothes line. Ed Gein is the real-life murderer who Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is based on. He also influenced the character of Norman Bates in Psycho and Buffalo Bill in Silence of the Lambs. Gein, as well as confessing to killing two women, also used to exhume graves and made items and keepsakes from the bones and skin.

So you can see where the Ed Gein clothing range takes its inspiration from. All items are available to buy on Etsy and they range from a bra to a bowler hat, lamps, and a terrifying jacket which costs $1,200.00 if you fancy it.

Arena and Barron hand-sew these horrifying creations from latex and silicone, styling them to look like human skin and faces. The designers say "This jacket is a true one of a kind as it could never be made exactly the same again." and also that it "will make sure you stand out in the crowd."

Somehow i think it's more like 'you'll definitely have a face that stands out in the crowd' if you ask me.

It certainly will. Check out some pics of the jacket and other items below.
