The Meaning Of Life: Cosmologist Stephen Hawking Covers Monty Python's 'Galaxy Song'

When he's not guest vocalist on a new Pink Floyd track, it seems Stephen Hawking likes to cover Monty Python songs, which is exactly what he's doing here.

The renowned physicist has released his version of Python's "Galaxy Song" from their film The Meaning of Life to coincide with Record Store Day 2015, which is taking place in the UK on 18 April and celebrates independent record stores.

Hawking covered the song for the Monty Python Live (Mostly) shows which took place last year, but now we all get the chance to hear his rendition. The video also features Hawking flying through space in his wheelchair and running over professor Brian Cox.

Hawking always knew that being a Scientist doesn't exclude being silly sometimes.
