Cats are the staple diet of pretty much anyone who regularly visits the internet, love them or hate them you can be sure that there will be a meme, video, topic, or some other kind of fluffy cuteness that will pique your interest.

It's an unavoidable fact of life (well, it is on the internet).

Reddit bills itself as the front page of the internet, but it's also a place of subreddits that cover all manner of ridiculous, shady, and niche subjects. Sometimes things are SO niche you'd never have realized that there could be any subject-intrest around it. But on Reddit it seems, anything goes.

An example of the more ridiculous kind is the r/Blep community.

r/Blep is a place for people to post pictures of their cat, or any cat really, with its tongue poking out.

A cat with its tongue poking out is admittedly a pretty specific and perhaps unusual subject, but if it's the sort of thing that makes you laugh or you enjoy, you need to be aware of this subreddit's existence.

There are hundreds of photos on there or all different kinds of cat, sometimes even big cats, and each month a Blep of the Month is chosen and crowned for its blepness.

If you're wondering what the word "blep" actually means, according to Urban Dictionary's top definition it is "the act of a cat sticking its tongue out slightly without realizing it, often for long periods of time."
