Before Fight Club was a cult classic film starring Edward Norton and Brad Pitt as the same person, it was a cult novel by Chuck Palahniuk.
And now Palahniuk is due to release the sequel. Set nine years after the events of Fight Club the story's anonymous protagonist is now called Sebastian and is married to Marla Singer (played by Helena Bonham Carter in the film). The couple have a nine year old son together and live in white-picket fence suburbia. But all is not perfect. Not when Sebastian is addicted to prescription drugs and his marriage is falling apart.
The story, written by Palahniuk and drawn by artist Cameron Stewart, will be a 10-issue comic book series starting on May 27th and released by Dark Horse Comics. Playboy magazine recently teased a six-page preview of it.
