Get Your Game Freak On As Filmmakers Recreate Grand Theft Auto V In Real Life

Hats off to Zapruder Pictures, a couple of filmmakers from Madrid, and their live-action recreation of the Grand Theft Auto 5 announcement trailer but relocated to their hometown.

If you can't remember the GTA 5 announcement trailer—it was all the way back in 2011 so don't beat yourself up about it—they've put the original trailer in the bottom left corner to remind you.

And it's a great indicator of how accurately they manage to recreate it, adding in special FX when needed. It also kind of makes you wish that a GTA live-action movie was in the works, but you just know that Hollywood would easily find a way to turn it into an utter turd somehow.

Enjoy the fan-made film above and then take a look at the new trailer for the Grand Theft Auto V below (“A Picket Fence and a Dog Named Skip” ) that will arrive on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 18, 2014 with the PC version to follow January 27, 2015. How long before these Zapruder are making their own version of this?
