Have you seen 'HELL NO' yet? If you're like me then you love a good horror film, with scenes that make you jump out of your chair and hide behind a pillow with your eyes shut, afraid to look at what you know is inevitably coming next and knowing it isn't going to be pretty. It's a great genre for a night of scary entertainment, but sometimes you have to wonder how far removed from real life all this stuff actually is.
Don't get me wrong, i'm a massive fan, but when it comes to horror films, all the characters, pretty much without fail, act completely unreasonably, doing things that any sane human being would never undertake in the same circumstances and pretty much do the opposite of what any 'sensible' person would think of doing.
Think about it, you would definitely NOT hang around in a creepy house, forest, dungeon for one second longer than you needed to, let alone be there on your own.
So i wonder, what would a horror film be like if all the protagonists acted sensibly? Well it would be like this hilarious trailer for a film that wouldn’t exist, because without those tropes you wouldn’t have horror. And who in their right mind would want to go and see that? HELL NO!
