Japanese App Gives Pets Cute Mouse Ears To Make Them Look Extra Adorable, If Slightly Weird

There's a new app that's become popular in Japan that seeks to readdress the balance when it comes to animals and mouse ears. Because it gives your pet—be it cat, dog, rabbit—ears shaped like a mouse.

Sure by the very nature of them being ears that evolved on mice you might wonder why other animals should get a look in. Well, there doesn't have to be a reason, there just has to be someone willing to design and build the app. And lets face it, all pet owners secretly want to see their pets with Mickey Mouse ears.

An app that turns your pet into a something that looks like a strange hybrid creature from the result of some far-fetched experiments, albeit a cute strange hybrid creature.

According to Rocketnews24 the app is called Cymera and was created by a South Korean company SK Communications. The site also says the app isn't strictly just for creating Mickey Mouses out of your pet either.

It's lets people edit and manipulate photos with a range of options, but the mouse ear effect is the one that people have latched onto, because it looks both ridiculous and adorable.
