Musicless Musicvideo Of Bowie And Jagger's "Dancing In The Street" Is Amazing

It's often the case that when icons of music come together to release a song it can be very hit and miss—Bowie and Bing Crosby singing "The Little Drummer Boy"? Oddball hit. Bowie and Mick Jagger singing "Dancin' In The Street"? Oh dear. And the music video that accompanied it was just bizarre and quite, quite terrible.

It features Bowie and Jagger camping it up while looking like a couple of lesbians, jerking and twisting their bodies like they're having some kind of fit. But, take the music away and make it a musicless musicvideo and you have something much, much better.

Mario Wienerroither is the YouTube hero behind this meme, who silences the music and adds a new soundtrack of hilarious grunts and groans and other weird effects to match what's going on in the video. And this latest one, which gives the world Jagger burping in Bowie's face, is a work of sheer brilliance.

We all know that if someone strikes a winning formula on the internet it will be copied immediately. And so it goes. Music agency House of Halo jumped on the musicvideo without music bandwagon and produced a Pharrell Williams' "Happy" video, minus the happy chords and lyrics and general happiness, back in March. Check it below.

And when you're done with that, waste some more time by watching Katy Perry's "Dark Horse" sans melody.
