Are you feeling charitable? Because Buckwheat Groats need your help. And if you're wondering just who the heck they are and why you should part with your cash money, well you may remember them from such music videos as "Tom Hanks." Where Mr Hanks was seen partying like a wild thing and shooting off automatic weapons.
A CGI version of Mr Hanks' head superimposed on other people's bodies was, anyway. And the duo—Penis Bailey The Bailey and Lil' Dinky (aka Deff Janiels)—want to create more videos and release an album and make some merchandise and go on tour, and they need your money to help them achieve this. Here's what they say:
One day you're riding high, touring with Lil' Debbie, carving prime slices of meat off the rump of an endangered animal on your private hunting grounds. The next day? You've squandered millions of dollars on bad business investments, bad women, bad drugs. You've paid Tom Hanks $22,000,000 to appear in a video. You've got no money and nowhere left to turn. Back on the streets, wondering where it all went wrong...
But we're not done. Nah. In fact, we're just getting started. We have ideas that could change the trajectory of the world.
If that sounds like the sort of thing you want to throw some money at (and lets be honest, why wouldn't you?), then head on over to their Kickstarter and give generously or not so generously, whatever. But if you pledge over $700 they'll write and record a song for you about whatever you want. Also check out their recent appearance on Reddit where they conducted a cool Q&A session.
Plus, the world really needs them to make another video as awesome as the Tom Hanks one, which you can check out below.
